Security teams do not fail because nobody collected the data. They fail because nobody connected it. We started OopsieMarbles to close the distance between a signal existing somewhere and somebody understanding what it means.
What we believe
Three positions we are not neutral on.
Evidence beats alerting.
An alert tells you something happened. Evidence tells you why it matters, what it connects to, and whether a second source agrees. We would rather send you one marble with four sources behind it than four hundred notifications.
Confidence is earned, not asserted.
Every score on our platform can be traced back to the sources that produced it. When independent evidence converges, confidence rises. When it does not, we say so rather than rounding up.
We do not promise perfect visibility.
Nobody can see all of the external attack surface, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling certainty they do not have. We promise better understanding of what we can see, and honesty about the rest.
